Most effective for me, kinda out-dated, July 16, 2011 By  J. Paukert (Houston/Gulfport) - See all my reviews    Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Remington M-8221 Intercept Shaver (Factory Refurbished) I've used this shaver for ten years. The first one lasted eight, with a couple repairs. I now own three (home, car, office). This model has a "stray cutter" oscillating bar between the two foils that is most effective in catching the stray hairs that insist in curling back against my neck. This is manufactured in Europe and no longer a current retail model in the US. Consequently, it is only available as "refurbished" and foil/cutter bars are increasingly tough to find (Thank God for e-tail!) The M-8221 has some electronic power-management idiosyncracies (like not switching off if it is close to full discharge). I love this shaver and am trying valiantly to ensure that it will be available for me for many more years, but doubt that is achievable.
